Creating a Calmer Canine Companion Course
If the full Behavior Assistant program is more than you need, this self-study course was designed for you. This course gives you the knowledge and tools to help you create a calmer canine companion. This course goes beyond the problem behaviors and focuses on a variety of daily changes that will help you create a calmer canine. Barking, jumping up, not coming when called, and impulse control issues are addressed. If you would like to help your dog in a self study, self paced, environment then this is the place for you!
Throughout the course, you can review the materials when it works for you versus a set class time. The materials are provided in units. Units help make the complicated subject of animal behavior less overwhelming. Each unit builds on the next, with the goal of creating a calmer canine companion. As you review each unit, you proceed on to the next unit at your pace. Any unit can be reviewed as needed. Further questions can be asked at anytime. Materials can be downloaded and kept forever.
The Creating a Calmer Canine Companion course offers:
Open Enrollment: You can get started now. You do not need to wait for an in person class to get scheduled.
Professional materials: Step by step instructions and worksheets are provided to help you with your pet.
Real life implementation: Change your dog's behavior where it needs changing.
Flexibility: You and your family can review and implement changes when it is convenient for you. You have the materials to refer to over and over again.
Your pace: You can review the materials and start to implement at your pace.
Specific problem focus as well as big picture focus: Focusing on learning a behavior in a training environment is great, however, it is important to integrate what is being learned into the dog's daily life. Focusing on the big picture and real life implementation helps in developing a calm, easy-to-live with pet.
- Only modern, pain-free, force-free, stress-free methods will be recommended: You will not be asked to force your pet, cause your pet additional fear, or apply pain to your pet. Those traditional methods are out-dated and unnecessary and have been shown to potentially cause additional behavioral problems.
This Creating a Calmer Canine Companion course is $300 for 90 days access to the materials. This course requires your dedication to work through the course on your own. If your dog is showing signs of fear and/or aggression, this course is NOT recommended. The Behavior Assistant program would be recommended with signs of fear or aggression.
